I invite photographer Zand Maroof over for a two hour show about the art, film and music of Kurdistan. We talk about his Kurdish heritage and his upcoming projects in Kurdistan. Me and Jack made this mix a while ago between his home setup and pirate studios. I love it. Patchwork of tons of different sounds, but it flows and morphs, moves from ambient to downtempo to techno back to ambient in a way that I really enjoy. Also really encapsulates the 'sound' of Shimmer. Eclectic, ethereal, at times alien and others very human.
